Nagashima Spaland: A Thrill-Seeker's Place

Friday, July 29, 2016

Another part of Nagashima Resort is the Nagashima Spaland. This is an amusement park for thrill-seekers. It has rides and attractions for adults and even for kids. People who are not fund of amusement parks may also enjoy while ride-sighting and listening to those screams of riders. Before I was able to visit this amusement park, I have a Nagashima Spaland post in Taiken Japan as my first article in the said website.
Because of so many rides and attractions to choose from but had a limited time, we chose the biggest and the most thrill rides in the park. Better get ready queuing for a single ride. It may take more time than the actual ride. Better find a way to enjoy yourselves in the queue. But I may tell you, it will be worth the wait. An entrance fee of 1,600Jpy is needed but if you want to ride almost the rides and have plenty of time to spend, better get the entrance + ride all you can ticket worth 4,500Jpy for adults. What are you waiting for? Let's scream and enjoy!

2015-2016 Winter Illumination in Nabana No Sato

Wednesday, July 27, 2016

After a day spent watching those beautiful blooming floras, have a rest for a while before watching the Nabana No Sato Illumination when the clock strikes 6 in the evening. You better look for a place in the bridge to have a better view of the lake when the illumination starts. Then head on to the tunnel of lights where you will walk inside a tunnel full of lights! From the entrance until the end of the tunnel, so romantic and beautiful.

2016 Nabana No Sato Flower Festival in Kuwana, Japan

Saturday, July 23, 2016

Nabana No Sato is part of Nagashima Resort located in Kuwana city, Mie prefecture in Japan. It is one of the many places in the Tokai region for leisure time. Nabano No Sato is a flower park where a bunch of flora are in full bloom depending on the season. The mother is here for vacation that time and since this is my first time here on an April month, I was excited to visit the place and this time, they are featuring different blooms of tulips. My favorite flower! From colors to sizes, in awe upon seeing those. Reminiscing that time while typing this post now.

Dahilayan Forest Park in Bukidnon, Philippines

Thursday, July 21, 2016

Dahilayan Forest Park is just a walk away from Dahilayan Adventure Park. If the Adventure Park has a free entrance, Dahilayan Forest Park has an entrance of 100Php for adults. Dahilayan Forest Park has rides and attractions but unlike DAP, it has a lesser thrill though I got an accident here. I just got my now knee scar because of the Buggy/ATV ride in the forest park. You read it right, I got my accident in my what so called lesser thrill place than the adventure park. Tadhana nga naman... LOL... Dahilayan Forest Park is not just for kids but for adults also. I guess it's good for family with children since everyone, of all ages can enjoy with the rides and attractions. They have the Forest Luge, ATV/Buggy Ride, Barrel Train, ZorbIt, Tree Top Adventure, Trampoline, Hanging Bridge, and Mini Golf Area. That's why it is called The Ultimate Family Playground which I agree.

Forest Luge (600Php)
This is the only luge ride in the Philippines. This is a ride from New Zealand where it rolls in twist and turn track where you can enjoy a scenic view while riding.

ATV/Buggy Ride (ATV for 750Php; Buggy for 1000Php)
You can choose between the two and a tour guide will guide you in a 3.2kms rough terrain, steep hills but with scenic views.

Dahilayan Adventure Park in Bukidnon, Philippines

Thursday, July 14, 2016

Hello there! I am not yet finish sharing with you my past adventures. Sorry for that. For now, we will go to where the Asia's 1st and longest dual zipline is located. None other than in Dahilayan Adventure Park in Bukidnon, Philippines. Traveled almost 8 hours from Davao city to try this activity and of course not just that but the other offered activities in the park. It's not my first time to try zipline but the first time to try the longest dual zipline in Asia Pacific. Other than this, there are other attractions to enjoy from like the new Skytower Base Jump, the 320 meter and 150 meter zipline, the surprising dropzone, the flying lizard canopy glider, python roller zipride, and for the faint hearted, there are some rope courses to choose from.

Asia's Longest Dual Zipline (500PHP)
Zipriders will be transported to a base tower 4,500 above sea level then enjoy a rainforest view during your 60-80 kph ride down to a carrier-type flight deck.

320 meter and 150 meter Zipline(250PHP)
If you hesitate to try the longest zipline, you might have your first trial in these ziplines or a finale after your longest zip. Whichever it is, you better try it while you're there naman lang.

Bungee Jumping in Macau Tower

Monday, July 11, 2016

Hello from here! One of the most amazing post in this blog is now live. First is me doing skydiving HERE and now, bungee jumping in Macau Tower. This is where the 233 meters, world's highest bungee is and yes, I just experienced it. Bungee jumping requires a lot of courage I guess because once those bungy cords and guided cables are attach to you, there's no way out now, the only way is to jump! You can try bungee jumping and tick that off of your list just like me. For 3,988MOP/HKD, you will get the full bungee jump package which includes a one-time bungy jump, e-certificate, membership card to all AJ Hackett activities around the world, exclusive t-shirt, photos+videos in USB, and the tower admission ticket. It might be a bit pricey but it can't compare what you will experience. So what are you waiting for? Book that trip to Macau tower and reserve a day ahead for your bungee jump and don't let your fear conquer you. It's a wonderful once in a lifetime experience. Wanna go try it again but at a different place this time. I hope so... Thank you AJ Hackett Macau Tower for this unforgettable experience of a lifetime. See you on my next adventures. Enjoy this post!

Kai Kai and Xin Xin: Just Those Cute Giant Pandas

Friday, July 8, 2016

Since I said in my previous post that I will make a separate post for those 2 cute giant pandas in Macau Giant Panda Pavilion in Seac Pai Van Park, here you go. In this park lives 2 giant pandas which is now one of world's endangered species. There are only 1,600 more or so pandas left around the world. The pandas here are a pair, male and female pandas. Their names are Kai Kai and Xin Xin, respectively. Both of them came from Chengdu, China, which serves as a gift from mainland China for the 10th year of Macau's reunification with China. They are inside a big glass pavilion but separated with a wall. The admission ticket of 10MOP/HKD will proceed to fund grants for education, research, and other projects supporting giant panda conservation work. Despite the will of holding and play with them, I can't. For your eyes only. How I wish I can go to China and will have the opportunity to hold and play with them even for a short time. How cute are those creatures, right?

Birthday Bash in Macau, China

Wednesday, July 6, 2016

DECEMBER! It is not just the first month of the winter and the last month of the year but there's a big celebration during this month (not that big though...exaggerating...). Well, it's just that, it is my birth month! Yes! For my 26th birthday, I decided to book that flight to Macau all by myself and did solo traveling again. My first solo travel was when I was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia way back 2014. You can read my post HERE.
Leaved Chubu International Airport late in the afternoon and arrived in Hongkong in the evening. Transferred to Hongkong Ferry Terminal for my evening trip bound to Macau. Arrived in Macau late in the evening so I rented a taxi to send me to my reserved hotel via I stayed my entire trip in Fu Hua Guang Dong Hotel Macau for 1,653HKD for 3 nights. Contrary to a frugal me, I stayed in a hotel on this trip since you know, it's my BIRTHDAY! It served as an inclusive in my birthday package. After checking in, I arranged my things, had a shower and put my self into bed and rest after a tiring day 1.

Day 2 serves as a free day. Went sightseeing, food tripping alone and sleeping in my cozy hotel bed. Yes! I spent my trip almost sleeping. Maybe the trip served also as a holiday from work. Walked around with a map, offline Google map and my traveler's instinct. Went to places I wasn't able to visit the last time in August 2014. Yes, it's my second time here. You can read my post HERE. This time, I was able to visit the Jardim Lou Lim Leoc, Ruins of St. Paul, Senado Square, St. Augustine's Church and Macau Museum and of course with some food trips and window shopping around the area. I was thankful that these places are close to each other.
First on the list, is the Jardim Lou Liem Louc which is a walk away from the hotel. This is a public park in the city which is popular to Macau residents and even to foreigners who loves to spend their morning doing nothing or even exercising. There are many of them there.

A First-Timer's 2-Day Itinerary in Kansai Area

Friday, July 1, 2016

Kansai area, especially Kyoto will always be one of my favorite places to go to during autumn in Japan. So autumn last year, together with the sister, I brought her to some tourist spots in Nara, Osaka and Kyoto. 2 days is not enough to visit Kansai area so we sum up this trip on some famous places and landmarks a first-timer should go (in this case, my sister). After all, there's a reason to come back, right? Well, Kansai is just an hour ride from Nagoya through shinkansen and merely 3 hours through ordinary train ride.
We traveled by an ordinary train for 3 hours and head on to Nara. There are so many heritage sites in Nara but we chose the Todaiji temple where one of the biggest Buddha statue in Japan is located. This is also the place where herd of deer are. You can feed, touch and get a picture with them. Just be careful when touching those. Some are naughty, some are nice.
Todaiji temple is the landmark of Nara. You can't go home without visiting this famous temple when you're in Nara. This temple houses the 15 meters tall seated bronze Buddha. An entrance fee of 500JPY is necessary for you to be able to enter the temple and be amazed of the beauty of this site together with other tourists.
