Well, hello there! Yes! My detour is in Cebu. From Kuala Lumpur, I flew with Air Asia to Cebu and stay there for almost 24 hours. Arrived almost 3pm and met with a co-teacher to stay at her place. Also, the reason for a little stopover at the Queen City of the South is a little food tripping.
1. For dinner, we have some buffet at Grand Majestic located in Grand Convention Center. For dinner buffet, 599Php per head is inclusive of drinks. The restaurant has different kinds of food to choose from. From salads to main courses to dimsums to desserts, every kind has it.

After all those Bali, Indonesia posts, let`s head ourselves to the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur! From Denpasar, I flew via Malaysia Airlines. Arrived at the beautiful KLIA in the afternoon. Went to the airport`s foreign exchange and had my remaining rupiahs and some yen in exchange for ringgits. To get to the center, there are many ways to get to. There are buses, taxis and express train. I chose the KLIA express train to get to KL Seentral and transfer to monorail line to get to Bukit Bintang for my booked accomodation (Al Jafs Hotel) via Agoda.com.
It`s been raining cats and dogs since I arrived so I rest for a while and waited until the rain stop. Went out and have some light dinner and walked around Bukit Bintang station. Nearby are the Lot10 department store, Pavilion mall, Times Square and Sephora. After checking these stores, went back to the hotel for some needed rest for tomorrow`s long itinerary. I had only 2 nights and a whole day in Malaysia before going home in the Philippines. So, after planning my next day`s itinerary, had some hot bath and went to sleep.

For my last night in Bali and before flying to Malaysia, we went on some Balinese traditional dance show performed by Sadha Budaya Troupe in Ubud Palace. Ubud Palace is located near the Ubud Market where they sell cheap and great souvenir finds. It`s like Chinatown in Singapore or Ladies Market in Hongkong.
Before having dinner, we decided to first feed our eyes with some beautiful hand and body moves from the dancers. This one is called the Legong Dance. We payed for 80,000IDR for it. Inside, almost all of the audience were foreigners with their cameras, iPhones and smartphones to capture the beauty of the show. Me, too, brought my camera for the same reason.
Every performance is lead by a Kebyar Ding instrumental that is use as an introduction music to express the dynamic of Balinese Gamelan music. They are using agongs as their instrument. The instrumental music will continue along the show while the dancers are performing.

Hello everyone! Been sick lately, so the tri-city adventure here in the blog was delayed a bit. Now, I am still recovering but this will not hinder my sharing. So pray for me too. Thank you!(wink*wink*) Without further adieu, let`s continue our Indonesia trip. From Kuta, we went to Ubud via a van service. You need to reserve 1 day in advance to ride the service and it will take you to any place in Bali. Kuta to Ubud to Nusa Dua to Denpasar airport, they have transport services. Please, no haggling this time. They have specific fares base on where you are going. And to make the story short, we arrived in Ubud at 2pm in the afternoon.

From the Lion City, let's fly to Bali, Indonesia via Tiger Air! Arrived early in the afternoon so by airport taxi, we went to our hotel for 2 nights. We stayed at Pop Hotels in Kuta. Kuta is such a crowded area in Bali. So many tourists and a much more lively during the sun sets down. So many clubs for party goers, restaurants for authentic Balinese foods, and stores for souvenir shopping. And not only that, they have great architecture. Very delicate and detailed architecture. So awesome for the field of architecture. Balineses has really a taste for this thing.
