Ubud-Bali, Indonesia

Sunday, November 16, 2014

Hello everyone! Been sick lately, so the tri-city adventure here in the blog was delayed a bit. Now, I am still recovering but this will not hinder my sharing. So pray for me too. Thank you!(wink*wink*) Without further adieu, let`s continue our Indonesia trip. From Kuta, we went to Ubud via a van service. You need to reserve 1 day in advance to ride the service and it will take you to any place in Bali. Kuta to Ubud to Nusa Dua to Denpasar airport, they have transport services. Please, no haggling this time. They have specific fares base on where you are going. And to make the story short, we arrived in Ubud at 2pm in the afternoon.
After a long walk searching for our accomodation (Jati Home Stay), having some problems with the room reservations, went out for some late lunch in a nearby cafe/restaurant called Atman Cafe. By the way, in Bali, almost establishments have Wi-Fi. Cool, right?!? Ordered Chicken Satay paired with some lemon juice this time. After gulping the small serving, we stayed for a while while watching people walked by the streets and then decided to have some walk along the streets of Ubud. Compared to Kuta, Ubud has less foreigners I guess. Again, amazed by their architecture. May it be a house, temple, school, so amusing. You gotta see it by yourself.
Gotta rest for now. See you on my next post about Ubud`s Monkey Forest and to show you some pictures of one of their Balinese dances, the Legong Dance. For now, gotta go! Talk to you soon.
