Arashiyama, Kyoto

After our Fushimi Inari Shrine adventure, you may read my post HERE, we went to another popular place in Kyoto, Arashiyama! This is where you can find the Togetsukyo bridge, Arashiyama's well known, central landmark, the famous bamboo groves and the Tenryuji temple. Since these 3 locations are not so far to each other, we didn't missed the chance to visit these places. But without bias, I was awed by the beauty of the Arashiyama's bamboo groves. After it was devastated by a heavy flood some time a year ago, I was amazed by how it recovered so fast. I was glad I visited the place at least once in my entire life but will not doubt to go back there if time permits. I would be glad to accompany you in your visit to these awesome locations. By the way, visiting the bamboo groves does not need any fee, only in Tenryuji temple where you need to pay 500JPY to enter the temple with vast garden to look up to for some relaxing moment.
And here are some of the iPod photos together with the ever-reliable #happypod we took during the visit. Again, sorry for the poor quality if it doesn't meet your standards. #sorrynotsorry
