Project 5 of 365: Monochrome Is Love

Thursday, October 31, 2013

There's something in pictures in monochrome mode. There's something I love about it which I cannot define. The first photo is a test in monochrome mode which I guess it turned out well, for the 2nd and 3rd photos, these are my "feet-focus" jump shots. These are not so old jump shots by the way. The last two photos were edited to look like in monochrome mode. Do you also love the effect of monochrome in your pictures? Do share your monochrome photos. By the way, this is dedicated to the last day of October. Happy Halloween! Tomorrow is already November and 55 days to go, it will be Christmas already!

Throwback Thursday: Kinka-san Climb 2013

Thursday, October 24, 2013

Another second time around post. I've been to Kinka-san twice already. For the first post, you can read it HERE. But it was way different from the first time, the second time, I'm with a friend met from my Nihongo class and we climb the mountain through a cable car and hike going down. It's so nice riding the cable car.

Throwback Thursday: Centrair 2013

Thursday, October 17, 2013

Since I came via Kansai airport, I was excited to see how Centrair looks like. Its the airport in Chubu area located in an island in Nagoya. Yes, I say island since you should cross a railway over waters.
Joining the sister and the cousin UNTIL Centrair for their Guam trip. Yes, until at the airport only since I am not joining them for their Guam bound.

Throwback Thursday: Kyoto 2013

Thursday, October 10, 2013

I know, I know, I just posted about Kyoto, right? Well, this is what I told you to stand by 'cause I have another post about this classic and beautiful city. Last March I think of this year marks my 2nd visit to Kyoto and definitely this will not be the last. This time, this trip was with the cousin during a failed Tokyo trip. We had a 3 day-off bound for Tokyo but at the last minute, the other one on the trip cancelled so what to do on a 3 day-off? Decided to have a Kyoto photo shoot for a day. Photos below will do the story telling.
Bumped with these "feeling real" geishas. LOL. (sorry for the word) But though they're fake, this is the farthest we can get to have a geisha pictured. FYI: Real geishas lurk. They don't usually come out and seen by people and have their picture. I think these girls pay 10,000+JPY or 5,000PHP just to play geisha-geishahan. I can't afford that! LOL.

Project 4 of 365: Hello Mr. Sun!

Saturday, October 5, 2013

Hello there guys and gals! It's been a long time since I did a photography post, right? Did you miss it? If you miss it, here I am serving you some Mr. Sun shots to feed your hungry eyes. These shots were taken during our Mt. Haku climb. If you missed my Mt. Haku post, you can read it HERE. I hope you like these shots of Mr. Sun while rising except for the last picture. It was taken during Mr. Sun getting ready to go to the other side of the earth at 5:00 in the afternoon, I guess. How do you like these shots? Comments are loved and appreciated.

Throwback Thursday: Whitepia 2013

Thursday, October 3, 2013

Hello everyone! Cold days again in this part of the world. Autumn is here loveys! For some cold-themed posts, I am sharing you this freezing post!

During last part of winter this year, we've been to a snow ski park! Again, first time gal here! Just saw snow ski parks in televisions before but this time, I got to try it! What a lucky gal here, right?!
All I can see is white! (of course, right?! snow ski park eh, alangan naman makakita ka nang Also, got to ride a lift which a ride that transfers skiers from the ground to the mountains where the skiing part takes place. It was indeed amazing and enjoyable! I can't believe myself I succeeded in riding and getting off the lift. It's so hard, you know. Taking note that you have your skis on.

For a beginner, yes, I stumbled many times! It's so hard, I want to just roll myself in the snow to make myself a snowball and just roll myself to finish the course but I think that is exaggerated enough. LOL.
